Daves Automotive Repair

My son recently completed his service in the Army and was preparing to leave Colorado Springs to return to San Antonio Texas. On our way to pick up a trailer we noticed the smell of burning rubber/plastic in the engine compartment. We were referred at Dave's Automotive by the trailer rental place. A gentleman, I'm assuming was Dave, came out inspected the truck thoroughly. He spent about 20 minutes inspecting the truck and found wires that were touching the exhaust. He re-routed the wires and the problem was fixed. I asked for the cost of the repairs, and he refused payment. I know his labor was minimal but the peace of mind he gave us was huge. I wish my son had known about Dave's Automotive during his posting in Colorado Springs. Finding businesses with that kind of integrity and compassion is rare. Service: General repairs & maintenance

I came to Dave's because of his positive reviews through Google. I'm sure glad I did. To summarize I had brought my vehicle in with a specific part that I needed replaced. He was able to get me in the next day which was awesome. On top of that after inspecting the vehicle he determined that the repair I wanted done wasn't needed and further investigated to find the issue. After spending much of his time searching for said problem he determined that the vehicle was fine and didn't charge me any money whatsoever. How can you not give 5 stars to an honest mechanic who actually cares about his customers and can be trusted? Thank you again Dave for your hospitality.

Been using this shop for over 20 years, and only refer this shop to my actual friends. literally the only mechanic I trust besides myself, prices are always accurate and fair, and most importantly, I've never had to bring my car back for improper repairs.
