Called for a quote, estimated cost was about the same as a dealer. Both are overcharging for a job that, according to the service manual takes 0.9 hours. They wanted $200, which isnt terrible compared to the $350 estimated by lithia fresno. Parts for this job are worth no more than $20 which means that for 54 minutes of labor they are charging a rate of $180.
I called for an appointment, and holy cow, they're booked two weeks out! They must be great. The gentleman that answered the phone asked what vehicle I had and what was the problem, and after discussing it with him, I felt better, as apparently there is no issue but a warning light (sensor) malfunction. I grew up in Visalia, but do not live there now. If I did, this place would be at the top of my list.
My father has been taking his fleet here for many years. Chuck the owner has been doing right by us the entire time. If you're looking for a good mechanic without the shady business give Visalia Imports a call.
