Bob and the Staff at SM Motors have done my Smog Checks on my 20 yr old convertible since 2016, and are always pleasant, efficient, and timely in uploading my Report to CA DMV. Excellent reception area, w/options for inside or out-a fine business, well run! Service: Auto emissions testing
They doubled their price for diagnosing a check engine light. They let me drive home without my air intake box. They left their code reader plugged into my dash and demanded my pregnant wife return it in exchange for the air intake they forgot to reinstall. They also left my brake booster vacuum hose disconnected. Not sure what happened to this place but I doubt I’ll be going back.
I had a wonderful experience at Santa Monica Motors! I originally went in for a smog check and then realized that they also offer registration services for out of state vehicles. I highly recommend going here instead of the DMV! Brit was super helpful and the owner and rest of the staff are so friendly. I’ll be coming here for additional services in the future. Thank you!
