I serviced my Maserati here due to a misfire situation. As you may know, not many shops in the bay area offer service and repair on Maserati cars, especially classic and older generation with the Ferrari M136 R V8 engine and F1 gearbox. I was having a misfire on cylinder 8 due to incorrect torque made by a mechanic from another shop. I was informed by three different shops in the area that I need helicoil or thread repair in order to fit the spark plug securely. The master tech at Preferred Auto Repair inspected my engine and was able to pinpoint the problem due to incorrect torque than tread issue. He was able to install a new spark plug from the factory under 10 min. The engine now runs smooth with no code at all. They are very honest, professional, and knowledgeable. Service: Engine repair

Fernando would text me updates, send pictures and call me with explanations and pricing for everything. I was able to ask questions and decide which services I wanted. Wish I could give 5 stars but I chose not to have work done on my car and junked it instead, so I cannot speak to the quality of work.
