European Autocare - San Diego

I’m so grateful I’ve found an honest and trustworthy auto care business to service my car (recommended by a close friend who has dealt with this ownership/family for 20 years). Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was thinking of making this my go to place for two BMWs. Since Firestone just installed 4 new tires for me and told me my brakes were 6mm (front) and 9mm (rear), I thought I would test European Autocare. I asked for a brake check. Now it gets interesting. George calls me and tells me I have only 1mm in front! I tell him that’s not possible…I just had my brakes checked by Firestone a day ago and they said 6mm. He says he will check again himself and hangs up. I immediately go to the shop and George then tells me he got my car mixed up with someone else’s car! Either they make pretty big mistakes like that or they lie. Either way, this shop is not for me. I’m out.

I was a first time customer. I dropped in unannounced and it didn't matter to European AutoCare. Within 10 minutes they had someone working on my car's issue and 30 minutes later I was on my way. They all were pleasant to talk to. The fee was fair. Service: Auto battery replacement
