BE CAREFUL. I took two new tires here. I asked Midas to: 1) install the two new tires, and 2) leave on the car the best two of the car’s other four existing tires BUT DEFINITELY NOT THE LEFT REAR TIRE because it has a nail (bolt/screw) embedded in the tread. Manager carefully writes all this info down. Calls me a couple of hours later to say the car is ready. I get there, take a quick look, and… sure enough, the left rear tire is still there with the same nail sticking out. They replaced it with one of the other tires they had just taken off my car, but I had to wait an hour and 20 minutes because the tech had just dipped out for lunch. What if I hadn’t checked the tire? Driving with a nail in your tire is inherently dangerous. This is also the kind of thing that makes you wonder what else they might have done incorrectly. I called Midas to make an appointment stating I had been in a few weeks ago for an oil change and tune up and that the check engine light went on and I wanted to get it checked as a follow up to my tune up since the car was just checked on. I ended up getting charged $170 for a check engine diagnostic and all that was wrong is that the gas cap was installed incorrectly. I asked the representative if I could get a cheaper price since I come here for oil changes and tuneups and he refused unfortunately, I did have a coupon so got $20 off but still frustrated by the amount I was paying for such a minor issue and since I was a regular customer. If you don’t use the discounts and get oil changes this place will rip you off big time.
