After 20 years of enduring repair mediocrity, two independent referrals took me to Hal’s Auto Care. At last! A shop with the capabilities and confidence to tackle extensive work on my 1986 Ford F-150. From the outset, Daren Burke kept me apprised of estimates, parts acquisition, and progress during the 11-week process. Staff is very professional and courteous with highly experienced mechanics who enjoy the challenge of repairing older vehicles. Their diligent approach to accessing parts resulted in an $800 savings, and all their work is warrantied! The service team at Hal’s Auto Care surpasses a five-star rating. They typically seem like one of the better car repair shops in the area, I've gotten work done before and they've done a good job, but sometimes they demonstrate how little they care. My car broke down and I had it towed there. They inspected it, I couldn't afford the repairs, so I had it towed back. Now my battery is dead and someone else's belongings are in the back of my car, and they won't do anything about either unless I somehow get my dead car/battery back to them, which wouldn't be worth the cost of getting a taxi there and back. All I get are illogical excuses. They claim they can't work on cars elsewhere, when all I asked for was someone to come pick up and charge my battery and bring it back to me, not work on it off-site. Some people only see problems and make excuses, instead of finding solutions and actually caring about people. Sometimes it seems like the only business man around who actually cares about his clients... Service: Vehicle Inspection
