Wow! Still in a bit of shock after my last visit to this shop. One of only three shop in the SF area that does ignition device calibrations. My first visit consisted of the owner and his mechanics speaking only in Spanish about my car in front of me and then giving me a broken English version of what they wanted me to know. As a woman who has work in the automotive industry, in shops and front offices, and has experienced the treatment women get sometimes, it was unprofessional, and disrespectful. On my first visit the owner did nothing but talk about how stupid most customers are and how he dismisses them if they disagree with him in his shop. The last time, he set off my alarm in my car twice, and tried to tell me it was a low battery problem. Anyone that has one of these devices knows that it messes with the electrical system and battery systems sometimes. Even I knew that?! And then had a technician mess with my battery?
