Ramona Tire

We tried making an "appointment" online. They never called back to confirm like the website states. I called the day before to make an "appointment" or check on my previously made one. So I got an "appointment" for 9am. My wife didn't get out of there until 12:30. And I ended up paying $250 more for tires. I had selected tires online first and then again when I called them they stated they could get those tires no problem from their supply warehouse. I'll go back to America's tire.

Fast service. Except My receipt stated I declined the extra services offered with an oil change. Considering the employee at the front desk who helped me knew I was I new customer NEVER offered, it’s upsetting to know services I would have been happy to have done were falsely stated I turned them down. It should have stated “employee never offered”. Although more convenient that Jiffy Lube I’ll probably return to Jiffy Lube. I may wait longer but at least I know what they do to my car.

I'm not from the area and this shop was the closest to my hotel. My tire was losing air and I noticed a nail. The guy who helped me said that he didn't see a nail but would dismount the tire and inspect it. After a 2.5hr wait, he told me they took the nail out, but that it didn't pierce the tire and that the tire wasn't losing air. Well the next day it was low again, since I trusted his professional judgment I simply refilled the tire and drove back home to LA. Today my tire was low again, took it to a local shop and they dismounted the tire and found the nail I had noticed days earlier. Ramona's has a banner hanging in their waitroom that reads something along the lines of "nothing is worth doing if it's not done safely" yet they sent me home w a nail in my tire and claimed that they had removed it. Not very safe or ethical practice in my opinion. I would never go back to this place. Would give them 0 stars if I could.
