I am obligated to write this review, because I owned the owner for his kindness and generosity. We went to this place for some questions about the tires, and then just asked about the long standing (over 3 years) issue with non-readiness for SMOG test. The owner took time out from his busy business and did some readings, gave us advises what to do. We followed those previous advises, returned for more readings, and again followed his suggestions to request the SMOG test at another place. The car passed the SMOG test. We were (actually my son) not able to do that for over 3 years! I asked but the owner didn't even want me to pay him. He was just out to help a stranger. What a humankind. I don't write review, and this is the only 2nd time.

Let me tell you, this is my first car and I messed up bad by driving it around not changing or checking anything but the coolant, air pressure and gas since I got it (smh, I know scold me lol). Anywho my EPC light came on and eventually went off but then my check engine light came on so I immediately looked for a place to bring it to and found Al’s because of all the reviews praising their expertise, honesty, integrity and being a fair place for women (who aren’t super knowledgeable about cars). THEY COMPLETELY LIVED UP TO THEIR REPUTATION ????????????????????????. I never got the gentleman’s name but I’m assuming he was Al (I got the vibe that he is the boss man lol) explained everything to me, let me take pictures of the codes and gave me a game plan of what my car needed while also being honest and managing my expectations (I had 6 codes on my car ). He saved my baby and I promise I will do better at taking care of my car!!! I would highly recommend this place. Services: General
