Wow, they must have thought I grew up in palo alto or had money spilling out since I own a volvo. Asked for labor cost to have timing belt/water pump on my C30 (I have all the parts would just rather pay for it to be done) after an awkward silence was told $720 for 4 hours being $180 per hour! The performance shop I go to to get ready for track days charges $150 an hour and gave me a 20% discount the first time I went. Seems like there was no fixed rate or anything did not feel like I was a valued potential customer at all. I’ll continue going to my preferred shop, was really hoping to find a regular daily driver mechanic with a decent wage but man this guy thinks he’s lightning mcqueens pit crew.

I have been a happy customer for fifteen years. Service is timely, reliable, and honest.

Again I received first class service, with a ride back home during which we could discuss the fine points of my concerns about my 1998 Volvo that I have had sine 1997.
