Purrfect Auto Service Oceanside

I hate to leave bad reviews but I feel others need to beware. I took my truck in because it started running really rough and they had it for about 3 days. They couldn't figure out what was wrong but decided to change the distributor. I'm not sure what they felt but it still ran the same, rough and they thought it ran better. It didn't at all! Then they called and said my power steering pump went out so they had to replace that which I never had any problems with, no noise ore problem steering ever. Obviously the powered steering had nothing to do with how it was running but somehow it all the sudden went out. Anyway, come to find out I need the whole engine rebuilt because the rods are bad according to 2 other mechanics. So this means Puurfect Auto just changed what they thought may be wrong without properly checking the whole engine for problems. &700.00 later I needed a new engine rebuild and I am out $700 for nothing being done to help the situation. Ray and the other people who worked on my car have been nothing short of incredibly helpful and very fair price wise. It’s been a tough time for my lil car, but I feel very taken care of and assured because of fantastic communication from Ray! Thanks guys

I got referred here by my mother. First time ever taking my car for a tune up, and I must say. . . These guys are awesome. Awesome to the max.
