I was advised to go to Bancroft Auto by a friend who visited the shop years ago. When I arrived I asked for Rick, and he couldn’t have been less interested in speaking with me or helping me. I needed my brakes fixed and I wanted them to check my abs system. They charged me $255 to fix one set of my brakes by “fixing the master cylinder” and adding brake fluid. I also needed to pay $85 dollars for a brake consultation before this. I was desperate so I paid it all. Currently, my abs system has gotten worse and my brakes never felt “better” or tighter”. Here’s the real reason why you should STAY FAR AWAY from this place: if they don’t want your service, they’ll do an average job, charge you a lot with vague explanations of the work they did (cause they don’t speak good English), and will be completely unfriendly through the entire process.
