Jay is a true professional. When I got my first truck 3 years ago, I took it to jay to get a new muffler. Every single one of my buddies recommended him. He did a flawless job on my muffler. He saw how excited and curious I was and invited me into the shop to watch him work on my truck. I was so inspired watching him do his job. He was so kind and my truck sounded amazing. I have and will always recommend Jay to anyone wanting to get their exhaust done for a fair price and a professional job. To start this off, Jay seemed like an extremely nice guy. I came to him because I needed to get a catalyst code fixed by replacing the catalytic converter. I was moving to college in a month and he explain to me that we could replace the back catalyst and possibly pass the code and that it’d be a much cheaper option than replacing the front. He showed the part to me with little explanation aside from it being less costly. His labor costs were absurd. He explained that it would take less than an hour and yet the labor was over 200$. After replacing it, my catalyst code never went away and I was notified by him to drive it 500 miles then come back. The code still never went away. At that point i was out of money and I come to find out through a financial assistance program that Jay had replaced my original part with an illegal part. He failed to notify me that it wouldnt be able to pass the smog AND that my car only needs a manufacture based part. I was frustrated, out of money, and out
