Do not leave your car with them. They will take weeks to "fix" the vehicle and will completely damage it in the process. The owner will let you take the car even if it hasn't been tested and after you ask about the work they did, he will say your money, that he asked for, is not worth the time put into the vehicle and that is why they did an incomplete job. Long over due review but still feel it's worth sharing. I took my car to this shop because my car was making some loud noises when I was going over 25 mph. Few days before I drove over a plastic bag and I was thinking maybe the plastic bag was stuck somewhere where I couldn't see it so I decided to take it to this shop only to be told that so and so had to be replaced ($800+ job). After I told the mechanic that I wouldn't be able to cover that because I just paid my college tuition for the semester, he walked away upset and said under his breath, "yeah it was a plastic bag making all that noise". I drove off and no more noise but just upsets me because if I did have the funds to pay for it, it wasn't an honest diagnosis of the car issue.

Jose Castro is kind, courteous, professional, and an excellent mechanic. He and his staff, including Alicia Corro at the front desk, go out of their way to assist you in any way possible. They do not take advantage as far as pricing goes. The prices for service and parts are realistic and affordable. Service is provided as quickly as possible so there isn’t a long wait for you to get your car back on the road. I highly recommend Universal Auto of Napa.
