Pep Boys

If you are planning to come here after buying a newer Hyundai vehicle (circa 2021 and up) to get inspected through Carvana's warranty and/or do the regular service maintenance...DON'T. They won't have the parts for you (like an oil filter) and apparently nowhere else around Lancaster will have it either from what the service person said. He told me to go directly to the Hyundai Delearship that was 40 miles away...I asked the Hyundai dealership and they said they will do the warranty inspection (don't go off what Carvana recommends saying that Pep Boys is the repair to do it...at least not the one in Lancaster.)

$595.00 for an oil change and a set of pads. I was blown away, dude behind counter just smirks. Said if I didn’t pay I couldn’t get my car. Oh and check this I had a 20% coupon on the oil change & 40% off on the brakes. Common sense would be to check the rates, something I didn’t have because I’ve done oil changes go all my cars and done pads a few times…always less then $100.00. It’s kind of sickening that I ended up borrowing money for this. Anyway this was the Pepboys in Lancaster, ca last month. Hopefully this won’t be you.

Got an oil change here and had a really nice experience and was happy at how inexpensive it was. No judgement from them even though I knowwwww my oil was bad (lol) and no pressure from anyone to push other sales at all, it was kept within the service I came for! Didn’t take forever either which was cool. Rafael was really nice as well I appreciate it :)
