Quick Smog and Auto Repair

I came here to do my smog check because I needed to get this done in order for my car registration renewal and this place was open on a sunday and had great reviews. So I called ahead to see about the wait time and came and got the job done in half an hour with the yelp check-in. I asked the front desk/mechanic if I could get a price quote for a break fluid exchange and he did his homework and checked to see if my car even needed it and said it didn't because the fluid was still clear and that the tank was just a little dirty. So I just spent half and hour chilling in a comfortable chair sipping a coffee which I would say is a decent way to spend half an hour at a smog shop doing a check-up.

Scam Alert! I dropped off a van to get a smog check and the manager Oscar gave a $300 written estimate as it did not pass smog and it would take a couple of days, and when I want to pick it up he charged me $1840!?? I begged him for any discount as the van is owned by a Youth Non Profit business that is just recovering from being shut down due to Covid, and he was adamant to charge the full amount! He also seemed very nervous when I went to pick it up and it was not until I got back to the office that I noticed the Van got tagged down the whole passenger side while it was at his shop and he failed to notify me. They will probably deny that the van was tagged while at their shop, but I have proof and will probably have to see them in court to recover the costs to have it painted. Just look at all his other recent negative reviews. I found out that this business is under new management and other customers have had similar problems!

Just driving looking for a smog station and I lucked out. Great place. Great people. This is where I come from now on. Well, like everything else have to revise my post on this place. Last couple of visits here, the service has gone away. To shop not opening when they should to staff not being helpful border line rude. Have to find another shop..
