I had a situation with brakes on my Scion xB getting noisy after the car gets warmed up. Pads were near new, just bought this low mileage car 2005 car. Unlike other shops, Austin (Steven’s son), told me right away that the pads were good. He thought I might have bad rotors (out of spec, cut too many times). Thin out of spec rotors will warp and make noise after they get hot. After inspecting the entire braking system they discovered that the front rotors were out of spec. They also discovered the rear brakes were good. They replaced my rotors with good quality replacements, not low quality parts from China. They gave me a reasonable price on the rotors (I research prices on rotors) and brake job. The brakes are perfect now. It so worth getting it done correctly. The driving experience is 100% better. I could have gone to a lesser shop. But, they could have missed the out of spec rotors or lied about the rear brakes. I have made this mistake before. You end up going back a
