I needed to replace my alternator belt for my car and i couldn't find a youtube video on how to do it because no one really drives the car i have. So i called every mechanic in town to find the lowest price for just the labor. Most places told me 100 or more to do it. So just as i almost settled to pay 100 i found this spot and asked him for a price and he said 40. So i quickly went there and he did it very quick and even showed me how he did it so i can know for next time. Not only did he do that but my power steering pump was also leaking from where the hose and the pump meets. I thought i needed a new pump and asked him how much he would charge, he looked at it and switched the little gasket on the hose and fixed the leak and saved me the money from replacing the whole pump. And he didnt even charge me for that extra fix. Most mechanics would have just replaced the pump to get the extra money but sal didnt take advantage of that. Originally I towed the car for a timing job then he talked me into having to replace the motor and once that was done my car would be fix when in reality the hose from the turbo was undone and all 4 of my injectors and a couple sensors had to be replaced which was another 3,5k at German Dreams which I highly recommend, now I can’t even get my money back cuz Saul never put in the paper work any of his diagnostics or that we towed the car in for timing, on the paper work he stated that we towed the car in to have the engine replaced only now he says that’s all he did and he used all the old parts of the engine which were all bad of course, he also tried to get me to “look into” my ecu because he thought that it might be having issues he put it in his recommendations and highly suggested it and at German Dreams not once was my ecu brought up as being part of the problem, Saul is a very dishonest and manipulative person I highly suggest getting a second opinion before getting any big work
