I searched weeks for a garage that had reasonable rates for brake services. Eddie's rates were very reasonable and competitive. On Aug 11, 2023 my car did not turn on. The car wouldn't crank. so I decided to call a mobile mechanic the next day. On Aug 12 Around noon, I call a mobile mechanic to come and diagnose my vehicle and see what the problem was. Eduardo Rodriguez who I found on the internet as R.E.A.L Mobile Mechanic shows up at 6-7pm To give me a diagnostic even though he stated at noon he stated he could be there in 2 hours. Once arrived Eduardo Stated that the problem was the starter and quoted me at $760.00. That's $360 for original OEM part and $400 for labor. I paid $360 on Aug 12 to start the transaction. Aug 14 he said he'll get the part by noon. He ends up texting that the shop gave him the wrong starter and in 1 1/2 hours he would get the right one. so I waited all day for him and no reply. He completely ghosted me all day Tuesday Aug 14, then on Aug 15 I asked for a refund and he explained to me that he has the part and if I wanted a refund I will need to pay the 20% restocking fee.
