This is not an honest mechanic. I took my van in for a diagnosis. They gave me a quote for my left, right and mid axle. Aamco came in $200 less, but informed me there was no mid axle. Other mechanics were charging 100 to 120 for the two axles, where as Silva was charging me $160 for each of 3 axles they said I needed. They double charged me for the same part (mid and right axle) and labor. They were particularly rude when I ask about the price difference. Additionally, they missed diagnosed my car. Every other mechanic I talked to said that axles shouldn't need to be replaced at 120k miles unless there was another major issue. When I asked the tech if there were any other issues, the tech got very defensive and rude. My motor mounts needed to be replaced. The work was completed by a different mechanic and my car no longer makes the grinding noise.
