Half Price Auto Repair & Performance

I've been using Half Price Auto Repair since 2020, and just started coming to their shop in Glendale in 2021. I use them for all our car maintenance needs. There are two specific things I appreciate about them: 1) They explain what needs to be done on the car in a calm way that's not manipulative. They can help you prioritize the work that needs to be done in case you don't have the time or money to do every job at once, and let you know what to expect down the road. 2) I've sat in their waiting room for some long hours and have heard them calling different dealers and suppliers to find the best price for parts. I know sometimes the cheapest part isn't always what's best, but I've had several conversations with the guys at this branch (and the Indian School branch) about when it's ok to buy generic parts and they are willing to explain in each situation, so I trust them and appreciate them for that.

Staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. Once my car was diagnosed Jimmy did a very thorough job of explaining my options and pricing. Was very pleased with the cost considering all the work I needed done. Repairs were completed the same day which made me very happy. I felt like I was driving a completely different car. So glad to have found this gem in my new neighborhood! This will absolutely be my go to place from now on. Thank you, guys! This place is so great. The staff works hard and takes care of you and your car. They care about people and have lower prices than anywhere else. I’m a Veteran and they have 1st responder/military discounts.They informed me there’s is no discount on an oil change but definitely on other services, please let them know when you call or turn in your car though. I would recommend this place 1000%
