I came out of the Commissary at Luke AFB and had a dangerously low tire. I drove a short distance to the Firestone Complete Auto Care here on base and they were able to repair the tire quickly before my frozen groceries thawed. What amazing customer service! I had nail in my tire and needed a repair. This location stated they could not patch it due to the location, which was in an area about 1.5" from the outermost tread, on the tread. I took the tire to another major tire shop and they repaired it without question. Seems like a predatory tactic to me.
