Let me tell you that Brakefield's Garage is a real diamond in a cubic zirconia world. Having a mechanic in these times who is honest and fair priced is often so hard to find. Pat, the owner takes time with you to explain everything and give you the best options. He has done maintance and repair on both of my cars a number of times and always does such a top quality job. Today he was even honest enough to tell me something he could have kept to himself and by keeping quiet, could have made himself a few hundred dollars. I called him telling him my electric passenger seat was stuck pulled way up so it was virtually impossible for anyone to sit in it. He told me all the things it could be from a loose wire to having to replace a switch to having to replace the entire motor itself. He told me that depending on what it might be it could cost about $175.00 in labor just to locate the issue. Warning will take advantage of you if you don't know much about cars. Dropped my van off for a simple busted water hose and belt and turned into a $900 job and took them a week with many issues. 1. Cut fan gaurd to get to belt. 2. Charged $42 for coolent and when i got it back the coolent was low. 3. Removed air intake and filter and did not install it back. 4. Pulled the fuse to the temp gauge and tryed to get me to spend another $100 for a sensor. I'm 79 years old and never have i been ripped off like that so for anyone needing your car worked on i would go somewhere else you been warned.
