I have used Whitt’s twice recently to take care of repairs on my car. I cannot say enough good things about this place, they have had all my repairs done in less than 24 hours, called with price estimates, and handed everything very professionally. As a young girl in a college town, I feel safe and respected taking my car here. Would absolutely recommend! Services: A/C installation & repair, Brake service & repair

I never got the chance to have a repair experience with these folks, however I felt I did need to write a review because they are absolute price-gougers. I went in to get a quote on a factory remanufactured transmission+install. The very nice man at the desk told me it would be between $5,000 and $5,500. This is a pretty insane price point, considering you can find a very nice factory reman online for an average of $2,000. I pulled it up in front of him and he replied, "Well, you'll have to find someone to install it." Does this mean he would charge over $3,000 on labor for an install? I called a few other shops who quoted me in the $1,000-$1,200 dollar range for an install. That is a very significant price difference-a few thousand, in fact. Never in my life have I had an experience at an auto repair shop this good. Mr. Whitt and his wife personally work the front and greeted me with a smile. They were easy to talk to and explained things I didn’t know to me. I was not due to be serviced until 3pm, but the repairs were completed by 9:30am! Not to mention the prices are AFFORDABLE.
