Quality Transmission Service

Extremely disappointed. My truck was stolen from their yard, they left it out front with no security cameras, and no reasoning. Work on the truck had not been started, and I was not notified it would be left out front, unprotected. I dropped off my truck and talked directly to the owner. He assured me that he takes pride in his work. He told me they would look into my truck within a day or two. None of that happened. I called a week later to find out nothing had been done. I was assured by staff that they would look at it that night. Next call I got was almost a week later to tell me it was stolen. No urgency was taken either, they reported it was missing at 6am AK time, but did not call me till 9:30. I missed the call and they did not even leave a voicemail. I never received another call from them. Not even to this day.

I was referred to Quality Transmission Service a few weeks ago by another shop in town. I spoke with Joe Cyr on the phone to make an appointment and he listened patiently as I explained the trouble code that came up, and what it possibly meant. Dropping my truck off for an appointment at Quality Transmission was quick and easy. Joe is just as helpful in person as he is on the phone. A few hours later he called me to let me know that he couldn't find anything wrong with the transmission and that the problem was an engine misfire. Joe referred me to another shop, and he didn't charge me for test driving and diagnosing my transmission concern. He told me he will do whatever he can to help me figure out the problem, should I need to return. This kind of customer service is rare today, I'm impressed. I've been a customer for over 7 years, and being local business owner, I felt it was time to let others know about this shops honesty, integrity, and passion to fix anything transmission related NO MATTER WHAT! Three things i love about this company. 1. They always tell me the cost up front and suggest what they think is needed to fix the problem. 2. They handle every job with care and make sure to explain what they have found and why they think it is the problem. 3. In all my times here (15 or so vehicles have been fixed over the years) if there is ever a problem with their fix, they always welcome me bringing it back in and quickly repair the minor issue. In one case they even fixed something that was unrelated free of charge. Very nice guys and they treat you like a neighbor, always! Great work Green, Rick and the crew!
