I like getting my tire work done there. And the Brand's of tires they have to offer for my Rig including the heavy lugged Recaps I Run on the drive axles. And best of all they don't try to blow smoke up my 6 they have always been straight up with me and no surprise heart attach when my Truck is ready.

This place is the go to place for tires in Anchorage. The best prices and good quality tires. Been coming here since long ago when I was a mechanic. Only downside is 1)no appointments. 2)took all day to get my truck done and back. Luckily it was a Saturday and I didn't need my truck.

Very disappointed - I've been here before and have had friends that have gone here and have had great experiences. This time around I had a terrible experience - if I could give 0 stars I would. I take my car to the shop because they are professional they know what is the right/best thing to do. Little did I know you have to change all 4 tires at once on an AWD vehicle (which I have) at the time I could only afford 2 tires - which I stated up front I only need 2 tires. They asked tires size, car make and model etc .... quoted me and i took my vehicle the next day to get the tires put on. First visit went fine. I planned on going back shortly after to get the other 2 tires. I called them a little while later to inquire about the other 2 tires - they only had 1 tire left in stock. So I attempted to call around to find 2 other tires - THAT'S when I find out that they should have changed all 4 tires at once. No one would sell me 2 tires for an AWD vehicle. I called GCR back to ask why/how
